After an Order is Placed

Orders Placed Online

  • Stock Products

    • You will receive a copy of the order details via email.
    • Your item will typically be shipped within 2-3 business days.
    • Special Order items may take additional time.

  • Basic Branding Irons

    Basic branding iron packages will have longer production times than our personalized and light or heavy duty branding irons.

    • You will receive a copy of the order details via email after placing your order.
    • When Does Production Begin?

      The first day of production will be the following business day after the order was placed, as shown in the example calendar below.



      NOTE: Production days are only business days. Weekends and US holidays are excluded. We are closed from Christmas through New Year’s Day.



    • The order then ships out on the final day of the 10 business day production cycle as shown in the example calendars above.
    • Once the order has shipped you will receive a shipment notification via email with the included tracking number.
  • Personalized Branding Irons

  • Custom BBQ Steak Branding Irons

    • After you submit your quote request through the custom steak branding iron product page, our account managers will contact you via email with an estimate within 1-2 business days.
    • On the emailed estimate there will be a link to view your quote online where you can either accept or decline the estimate. You can also of course call us or email your account manager directly by replying to the estimate email to confirm or decline the estimate.
    • After accepting the estimate a complete invoice will be sent which will include the shipping cost and any sales tax if applicable (we only charge sales tax for orders delivered to an address within California).
    • The invoice will be emailed to you with a link that will allow you to pay online by the method of your choice.
    • Once an invoice has been paid in full, we will proceed with creating a proof for your review and approval. You will receive the proof via email within 1-2 business days after paying the invoice.
    • Once you have confirmed your approval of the proof through an email response, the order will then proceed to production.
    • The order then ships out on the final day of the approximate 15 business day standard production cycle as shown in the example calendars below.
    • Once the order has shipped you will receive a shipment notification via email with the included tracking number.
    • When Does Production Begin?

      If we receive your proof approval before 4:00 pm PST, the first day of production will be the following business day, as shown in the example calendar below.

  • Livestock Branding Irons

    • After you submit your quote request through the livestock branding iron product page, our account managers will contact you via email with an estimate within 1-2 business days.
    • On the emailed estimate there will be a link to view your quote online where you can either accept or decline the estimate. You can also of course call us or email your account manager directly by replying to the estimate email to confirm or decline the estimate.
    • After accepting the estimate a complete invoice will be sent which will include the shipping cost and any sales tax if applicable (we only charge sales tax for orders delivered to an address within California).
    • The invoice will be emailed to you with a link that will allow you to pay online by the method of your choice.
    • Once an invoice has been paid in full, we will proceed with creating a proof for your review and approval. You will receive the proof via email within 1-2 business days after paying the invoice.
    • Your proof will show the design to be created in either heater wire, case bronze or copper, or bent steel with a scale indication for reference.
      NOTE: Fire-heated branding irons will have breaks at any intersecting lines or corners to allievate over-burning in the animals skin.
    • Once you have confirmed your approval of the proof through an email response, the order will then proceed to production.
    • The order then ships out on the final day of the approximate 20 business day standard production cycle as shown in the example calendars below.
    • Once the order has shipped you will receive a shipment notification via email with the included tracking number.

    • After you submit your quote request, our account managers will contact you via email with an estimate or to request more information if needed within 1-2 business days.
    • On the emailed estimate there will be a link to view your quote online where you can either accept or decline the estimate. You can also of course call us or email your account manager directly by replying to the estimate email to confirm or decline the estimate.
    • After accepting the estimate a complete invoice will be sent which will include the shipping cost and any sales tax if applicable (we only charge sales tax for orders delivered to an address within California).
    • The invoice will be emailed to you with a link that will allow you to pay online by the method of your choice.
      NOTE: Please be sure to view the attached pdf of your invoice before providing payment to ensure that your shipping address and order is correct.
    • Once an invoice has been paid in full, we will proceed with creating a proof for your review and approval. You will receive the proof via email within 1-2 business days after paying the invoice.
    • Your proof will show the design to be created. Our pricing includes up to three rounds of adjustments to the proof in case changes or alterations are needed. In some cases, if the requested changes are complex or if increasing the size larger than the already purchased branding head will allow, additional charges may be required.
    • Once you have confirmed your approval of the proof through an email response, the order will then proceed to production.
    • The order then ships out on the final day of the approximate 5 business day standard production cycle as shown in the example calendars below. If a rush or super rush production speed was requested the production time will be the respective 2 or 1 business day speed.

      NOTE: Branding heads with special customization or at extra-large sizes require extra production time. Please refer to the production speed line item listed on your invoice for specific production times on these custom items.

Stock products include heating tools (fire-heated, propane, and electric handles), temperature control units, and accessories such as cedar boxes and brushes. BBQ steak and food branding irons, livestock irons, unity irons, wax seals, and basic, personalized, and light or heavy duty branding irons are considered custom products.
