We offer branding irons with holders for extra large interchangeable characters (over 1" high) in virtually any font of your choosing. Slide these precision-milled Interchangeable Characters in and out of our holders with ease. The advantage of our individual characters is that you can pick and choose only the characters you need, and as many of each character necessary for any required branded mark. Choose the holder size (length) based on its capacity, considering the longest branded mark needed, including spacers. We offer holders in different styles, designed to connect to the various heating tools we offer, as shown below. When using Extra Large Interchangeable Character Holders, using a Drill Press Mounted Heating Tool increases accuracy and efficiency while minimizing physical effort.
Extra large interchangeable characters are especially useful because of their versatility. This product is popular for spelling out names on donor and recognition wall plaques as well as for promotional displays in retail and wholesale stores.

- Character size is greater than 1” high
- Precision milled and engraved to support clear branded marks
- Holder is approx. 3/4" thick to help prevent warping and for prolonged heat retention
- Can be made thicker upon request
- Characters are raised 3/32″ to prevent background marks

- Based on size of character holder, one or more heating tools may be necessary
- Our PRO-1000 propane heating tool can be used for heating up a character holder with a maximum size of 35” sq.
- Heating over an open flame is an option, but not ideal
